Update on Adoption Friend...

As many of you know, I have a friend whose family is in the midst of adopting a couple of beautiful children from Haiti. They broght their daughter home on Christmas Eve. Thank God for his blessings. Their son, however, didn't have all of the completed visa stuff. So, they were planning to have him home before summer.

Then the earthquake happened.

They do have some documented proof that he is alive and where he is at the moment. Thank goodness another adoptive family was over there when this all took place and is able to verify.

My friend and his family are now trying to work with our government to get their son an emergency visa so they can bring him home and get him out of the destruction. Please pray for this family. This young man needs to come home to his family. Pray that the government makes a way for this child to get off of the streets and come home to a loving family that can't wait to wrap their arms around him.

An Adoption Story...

This is my brother-in-law and sister-in-law.  They came to visit us over the holidays and showed us the video that their church had put together after their adoption.  This is worth watching... They get it!  They get why this "calling" is so very important.  They get the impact that you have on someones life... I am so proud... so very, very proud of them...

Beyond Measure...

Today was a very special day in our home...

after two years of struggles and tears and fights...

we were awarded the best thing in the world!

Children.

Family.

Love.

Blessings...

A necklace given...

that symbolizes a love that can never be broken.

I would love to tell you more, but right now I am full of so much love, gratitude and... tears that I can't talk about it... even in writing.

-- Just know that God has blessed this family beyond measure...
