We have been pretty busy this week. Miranda got her drivers permit. I have pictures of most of the activities, but I will have to post them later. Maybe I will schedule them to post over the next week... then you can anticipate the updates.
Anyway, we went to the zoo today. It was wonderful! We have never gone in the cooler temps before. We only seem to go to the zoo when it is boiling hot and you race from one shady spot to the next. Today was great. The temperature was around 50 and the animals were all up moving around. They are so much more active at this time of the year. We had a really nice time. After the zoo, we headed to the park, ate lunch and let the kids run and play for an hour and a half or so.
Every single one of the kids told us they had such a great time.
Now we are home and the snow has melted enough for Mark to take the Christmas lights down. I know some of you are thinking, "What! Why are they still up?!" Around here, we get so much snow that there is no way to even find them until the snow melts at this time of the year. So, out on the roof he goes and the decorations get put away until November.
There is no school tomorrow due to a teachers work day. That basically means the kids are very relaxed and chillin'... if you know what I mean.
Mark is on vacation in a week. He is so excited. We are not doing anything special except heading to the "big city" for a day or two.. without the kids. We almost never do that, so it is sounding better and better.
The Wild Coast Lawn is here!
